The eighth Language Creation Conference (LCC8) will take place at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge on the 22nd and 23rd of June 2019. This conference is run by the Language Creation Society (LCS) every two years and is the key event for language creators worldwide.

The programme will be available soon. Among many talks on various aspects of constructed languages and constructing languages, there will also be an invited panel on the topic ‘Conlangs in Science-Fiction and Fantasy’. Two members of the CSFF will be on the panel of this round table discussion: Prof. Sarah Annes Brown and Dr. Tiffani Angus, along with two language creators who have created conlangs professionally for popular media: they are Margaret Ransdell-Green and Jackson Bradley.
