ARU welcomes Writer-in-Residence Tashan Mehta

We are delighted that Tashan Mehta will be joining the Centre for Science Fiction and Fantasy this month (22-26 October) to take up a short term residency generously funded by the British Council.  The Liar’s Weave, Tashan’s debut novel, was published in 2017. This speculative fiction is set in 1920s India and focuses on a Parsi boy who can change reality with his lies.  Tashan’s wide ranging interests include the relationship between narrative and ideology, the depiction of multilingualism in fiction, and the creation of alternate histories in speculative fiction. We very much look forward to welcoming her to Anglia Ruskin.
